A good cut should still look like a good cut on the mornings you do nothing to it. That means working with your growth patterns, your density and your cowlicks rather than against them.
I cut dry for most textures so I can see how the hair falls in real time. Wet hair lies. If you have a strong wave or a cowlick at the crown, cutting it wet and hoping is how you end up with a shape that only works the day you leave.
Bring photos if you have them, and where you can bring photos of hair with a texture like yours. A shape that works on fine straight hair will not do the same thing on dense curls.

- Day old hair is ideal. Freshly washed hair is slippery and sits differently than it will most days.

- Yes, dry and in its natural pattern. Come with your curls clean, dry and styled the way you normally wear them so I can see how they actually behave.
